Grass Markers
A grass marker is set in the ground at the foot of a grave identifying the deceased’s birth and death dates as well as any other personal inscriptions. A cemetery lot will generally have several grass markers, one for each plot. In addition to having the deceased’s name on the main monument, a grass marker details which plot the deceased occupies.
